How to interpret the numbers and understand your Daily Update email

Stay informed about your piracy threats

MUSO's web crawlers continuously scan the internet for unauthorised copies of your content. This data helps you gauge the online interest surrounding your content.

Here's a breakdown of the statistics you'll find in your MUSO Dashboard and Daily Update emails:

  • Removals Needed: This metric indicates the number of infringing copies that MUSO has detected. A rising "Removals Needed" count might suggest increasing interest in your content. However, with consistent takedown efforts, this number should naturally decrease over time.
  • Change in 24 Hours: This metric shows the most recent fluctuation (increase or decrease) in piracy activity for your content. A sustained daily rise in this number suggests potential threats to your content.
  • No Removals Needed: This is good news! However, continued monitoring is crucial. Piracy activity can fluctuate, so keep monitoring the results in your MUSO Dashboard and Daily Updates email.
If you come across an infringing link that our web crawlers have not yet detected, you can submit it for takedown via the MUSO Dashboard.
