Adding titles to a new campaign
This guide explains how to add titles you want to protect within your MUSO campaign, following your chosen media type (Music, Software, Film, Publishing).
Adding titles by media type:
-
Music: Click "Add Tracks," enter each track name on a new line (excluding track numbers e.g. My Song rather than 1. My Song), and choose if you want takedowns for Various Artists tracks (like those on soundtracks or compilations)
-
Software: Click "Add Software Products," enter each product name on a new line
-
Film: Click "Add Film AKAs" to enter each version's title (including foreign languages/regional variations)
-
Publishing (Author): Click "Add Books," enter each book title on a new line and add a release date if needed
Note: If your Publishing campaign type is "Book" or "Publication," no additional title entry is required here. The details from campaign creation suffice.
All campaigns must have a "URL of Original Work" entered. This is a URL where an example of the copyrighted work can be viewed. (e.g. webpage to official website or link from goodreads.com, amazon.com, books.google.com).
Adding titles to existing campaigns:
The process is similar. From your MUSO Dashboard, click the campaign you want to edit, then find the "Quick Summary" box on the left and click "Edit Products." Follow the same steps as above to add or edit titles.
Important Note: Allow up to 24 hours for new or edited titles to appear in your MUSO Dashboard.
